Hampstead & Westminster Hockey Club is based in Central London and plays home games on the two artificial pitches at Paddington Recreation Ground, Maida Vale, London W9.

One of these is a water-based pitch which is due to replaced with a shiny new water base in the summer 2009 to an FIH Global standard pitch. Both pitches are a mere 5 minutes walk from Maida Vale tube, well within zone 2, and which makes HWHC an extremely easy club to get to.

The Club has a unique Clubhouse at the Carlton Tavern situated on the north side of the Recreation Ground on Carlton Vale (see directions). The Carlton has a large sports screen and with two other large tv screens as well it shows all major sporting events. The Carlton also has a very large beer garden and barbeque; the tourers amongst you will be pleased at the various sets of dice available. The Club runs 12 Men's sides and 7 Women's sides. HWHC covers players of all abilities and all age groups and provides coaching across all these players.
