The Premier Division of the England Hockey League (EHL) is the pinnacle of club hockey in England.
The winner of the Premier Division qualifies for the EuroHockey League (hockey's equivalent of the UEFA Champions League), and the runner-up qualifies for the EuroHockey Club Trophy (hockey's equivalent of the UEFA Europa League).
Our Ladies 1s joined the EHL Premier Division in 2019-2020, and finished second in 2021-2022 and third in 2023-2024. At the half-way point of this season 2024-25, our Ladies 1s are sitting at the top of the Premier Division table.
In April 2023, our Ladies 1s played in the EuroHockey Club Trophy winning a Bronze Medal, and in April 2025 our Ladies 1s will again compete in the EuroHockey Club Trophy to be held in Rakovnik, Czech Republic. Future European hockey is the objective.
Continued growth and recent successes for the club both on and off the pitch have resulted in a funding gap between club income and expenditure. To help bridge the funding gap and secure the long-term future and success of the club, we are delighted to offer the opportunity for individual player sponsorship. Sponsorship is open to individuals, friends, families or corporates.
The current Ladies 1s squad includes current or former Great Britain, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Australian and New Zealand age-group and adult internationals.

When an individual player sponsor is obtained we will replace the logo of our Tier 1 Club Sponsors - Mountview Capital and 1894 Club Members - with the logo or name of the individual player sponsor.
