The Ladies 1s put on a display on Saturday vs EG, which is always a tight contest with highly skilled players in both sides. Hampstead went an early goal down but came back soon after with Tyler winning a penalty flick and Esme slotting home. Pip nailed a PC rebound into the bottom corner before half time.
The second half saw HWHC continue to pile on the pressure and win plenty of goal scoring opportunities. Liv Hamilton powered home a strike from a PC.
EG came back on the counter scoring a reverse stick strike into the top corner which gave them some hope. However, this was soon cancelled out by Hampstead’s Rose scoring on the counter attack in the other direction.
EG went on to score a PC later in the game but Hampstead took the 3 points. Final score 4-3. An amazing game and performance from the Hampstead ladies.
